The big return of Corey Perry has just been announced by Mark Spector
Fans of the Montreal Canadiens will clearly always have a special place in their hearts for forward Corey Perry.
Even though his time with the Canadiens was brief, Perry certainly left his mark and remains in contact with young players in the organization, like Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki.
We continue to follow his situation.
For the past few games, Perry has unfortunately had to watch his team from the stands, which must be really hard for him to accept.
However, that could change very soon.
Mark Spector, from Sportsnet, predicts the big return of Corey Perry to the Edmonton Oilers lineup
In his most recent post, the Edmonton journalist stated the following.
«Here's what I'm leaning towards. McLeod, Ryan OUT, Henrique, Perry IN. That would make a third line composed of Henrique, with Foegele and Perry.» - Mark Spector
This would be great news for Corey Perry, and we really hope for it (especially against his former team).
Perry, 39, who has always been excellent in the playoffs, has amassed 22 points in 54 games this season, including 12 goals. He earns $775,000 with the Oilers and will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Details to follow.
