The depth chart of the Montreal Canadiens goalies has been shaken up quite a bit since the start of the season, particularly since the unfortunate injury suffered by Andrew Hammond, and following the emergency recall of Cayden Primeau.
The Laval Rocket organization (following the trade of Michael McNiven) found itself with a lack of goaltenders. It is now settled.
The Rocket have actually announced the signing of goaltender Louis-Philip Guindon.
The Quebecer has played five games this season with the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL and three games with the Laval Rocket. (professional trial contract)
He was released by Laval on February 27.
