Angela Price makes an interesting announcement about Carey Price and his family

As we now know that Carey Price will probably have to miss the 2022-2023 season, speculations have already started about his future in the NHL. Many experts believe that number 31 probably played his last game in Montreal last April.

However, there is still hope in the air and as Marc-Olivier Cook of Danslescoulisses.com reports, Price will spend the next year in Montreal with his family. This is what Angela Price has just announced.

Chantal Machabée said a few days ago that the Canadiens' goalie will be in town for the start of the team's training camp so that he can pass the medical tests, but of course he is expected to fail them. At that point, Kent Hughes will be able to officially place him on the long-term injured list, which will save the team his $10.5 million salary and give the payroll some breathing room.

Regarding the fact that he will spend the next year in Montreal, it was his wife, Angela, who announced it via a story on Instagram and let's just say that it might give some slim hope to Habs fans.

Will he spend the year around the team, despite his injury? It looks like he will!

For now we don't know, but we do know that he will be in Montreal for the entire 2022-2023 season.

We wonder if it is not the organization of the Habs who made the request to the number 31 to settle in Montreal for the season and this situation is not without reminding that of Shea Weber in 2021-2022, who remained in British Columbia.

Also note that Angela indicated on Instagram that the family will eventually move back to Kelowna, to be closer to their families and she wanted to clarify one thing in particular: when her husband's hockey career is over, it will be through him (or the team) that we will know, not through the media.
