Shane Wright's start to the season continues to be the talk of the town with unexpected twists and turns as the young center continues to be consistently ignored by his head coach, who simply does not play him.

At the team's practice earlier this week, Wright had hopes of a golden opportunity as he was promoted to the second line!

Was this the beginning of something very positive for Wright? Not at all.

Before he could even play a game, Wright had just been relegated to his team's fifth trio, and he had to endure another solid disappointment.

He will have been on the Kraken's second line for one practice... It must be getting discouraging for him.

Wright seemed really excited to get his chance on the second line, but today, it was a reversal of fortune! He is back as the 14th forward.

Another false hope for him.

Wright, 18, has one point in seven games this season (only one shot on goal overall and only one check this year).

Do you think Shane Wright will finally be sent back to junior? Do you think it will continue to fester?

Let's remember that there are already a lot of frustrations with this issue.
