There was a lot of good news today at practice for the Montreal Canadiens, as the team prepares to return home to the Bell Centre and face the Seattle Kraken. (game scheduled for tomorrow at 7 p.m.)
For details:
In addition to Jonathan Drouin and Joel Edmundson, another important Habs player seems ready to return to action: goalkeeper Jake Allen.
Today, not only was Allen training with the regulars, with his teammates, but he was also not sharing his net with the young goalie Cayden Primeau.
It was Samuel Montembeault, who alternated with Primeau. What does it mean? Allen is very close to a return to play and he could possibly be activated tomorrow.
If we learn, in the next few hours, that Primeau is sent back to Laval, that will confirm the return of Jake Allen.
The Habs are coming back more and more healthy, it promises. Still note that Drouin, Edmundson and Allen have not yet received the green light from the doctors, but it could be done as early as tomorrow or Monday at the latest.
More details to come...
