Earlier this evening, the Boston Bruins finally announced that they have terminated the contract of defenseman Mitchell Miller, less than three days after signing him.
According to the Bruins, this was done by mutual agreement.
It's a signing that had been making a lot of waves, since Friday, when the Bruins announced they had agreed to terms with the former Arizona Coyotes fourth round pick in 2020.
"Background: Miller and another teenager were convicted in juvenile court of bullying and abuse against Isaiah Meyer-Crothers, a black and disabled classmate. Miller repeatedly used racial slurs and forced Meyer-Crothers to lick a lollipop he had smeared inside a urinal. - Frank Seravalli"
You can guess that the reactions are many!
More details to follow!
