Eight players placed on waivers today including Petr Mrazek

With the NHL trade deadline just a few hours away, we have just learned that no less than eight players were placed in the pool today.

The different teams of the Bettman circuit have until tomorrow, 2:00 p.m., to claim and acquire one or more of these players for free.

- Riley Nash (Arizona)

- Brad Richardson (Calgary)

- Kyle Turris (Edmonton)

- Christian Jaros (New Jersey)

- Kyle Clifford (Toronto)

- Harri Sateri (Toronto)

- Derrick Pouliot (Las Vegas)

Also on the ballot today: goalie Petr Mrazek, who is the Maple Leafs' number one since Jack Campbell's injury. Interesting.
