Juraj Slafkovsky has Just Confirmed an Interesting Rumor and it Could Change Everything
Over the summer, a rumor circulated that Juraj Slafkovsky had lost quite a bit of weight in order to be faster on the ice rink.
We had not yet seen it with our own eyes, but it was clearly confirmed today during his first press conference of the season.
"Juraj Slafkovsky confirms that he lost weight this summer - he says he currently weighs about 102 or 103 kg (somewhere between 225 and 227 pounds)."
- Via Priyanta Emrith
Clearly, it is quickly noticeable when you see him:
When Slafkovsky showed up last summer, at that same golf tournament, he weighed over 240 pounds.
So it is absolutely notable to know that he is now around 225 pounds and we are eager to see the results on the ice rink.
It is the kind of small detail that can change everything.
