To date, the Canadiens have 14 picks for the next draft, which will take place at the Bell Centre. The pressure is on Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton who must not miss their chance.
In order to have a better idea of the young players available for the next amateur auction, the two hockey men will fly to Germany in the next few days to attend the World Under-18 Championship, according to Renaud Lavoie.
The Championship will be held from April 23 to May 1. Canada will try to keep its title won in 2021 when Shane Wright, Connor Bedard and Mason McTavish, to name a few, led the country to the top honors.
