Major Reinforcements Coming for the Canadiens Organization: Two Injured Players are Set to Return Imminently
We will soon see mass movement within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
Reinforcements are on the way, notably for the Laval Rocket, and there will be impacts on the Habs.
"Quietly, the team is just 3 points away from the playoffs as we speak. Reinforcements are expected very soon with Lias Andersson and Sean Farrell, two top 6 forwards, and probably a defenseman from Montreal."
- Anthony Marcotte, BPM Sports Good news! Andersson and Farrell will be back soon, which is major for the Rocket.
Andersson has 9 points, including 7 goals, in 10 games this season.
Farrell has 12 points, including 4 goals, in 18 games this season.
This also indicates that a Canadiens defenseman is on the verge of being sent to the Rocket. It's not expected to be Jayden Struble or Justin Barron, so it possibly leaves Gustav Lindstrom (who would have to go through NHL waivers first).
There's also the possibility of seeing Jordan Harris temporarily sent to Laval for conditioning purposes. This solution has been suggested by several experts.
To be continued!
