The Montreal Canadiens are currently on the ice for today's practice in preparation for tomorrow's game against the San Jose Sharks.
For the occasion, Martin St-Louis revealed his trios as well as his defensemen duos, and an interesting decision seems to have been made.
"Caufield-Suzuki-Dach
Dadonov-Dvorak-Gallagher
Armia-Wideman**-Anderson
Pezzetta-Evans-Slafkovsky
Matheson-Savard
Edmundson-Guhle
Xhekaj-Kovacevic
Harris"
** Please note that Chris Wideman is temporarily taking Sean Monahan's place, which seems to indicate that Monahan will be at his spot tomorrow.
Also, note that young Juraj Slafkovsky is back on his team's fourth line, but more importantly, note that Jordan Harris is (once again) without a partner and is the seventh defenseman.
A personnel move to come?
So all indications are that Harris will be left out again tomorrow, and some pundits are starting to seriously question whether he will eventually be sent to the AHL to play games.
So, in summary, based on these observations, all indications are that Monahan, Xhekaj and Kovacevic will be in uniform tomorrow, with Chris Wideman and Jordan Harris in the stands. In the case of young Harris, this would be his fourth healthy scratch in five games.
Stay tuned!
