New Player Targeted to Play on Suzuki and Caufield's Line
In the last few minutes, the journalist Arpon Basu, who covers the Montreal Canadiens for The Athletic, was questioned about Martin St-Louis' line combinations to start the next season.
He then placed none other than new acquisition Alex Newhook on the 1st line, along with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.
Do you like this?
See the full result:
Caufield - Suzuki - Newhook
Slafkovsky - Dach - Anderson
Armia - Monahan - Gallagher
Ylonen - Evans - Harvey-Pinard
He mentioned that he puts Newhook on the first line because he believes that the Canadiens' leadership would really like to see what kind of results this could produce.
His speed is an element that could bring a lot to this line, both offensively and defensively.
"I really believe he'll get his chance (to play with Suzuki and Caufield) during the preseason."
Arpon Basu
To be continued, and we really look forward to seeing this, but don't be surprised if it's the first line to start the season.
