Although he opted to return to the college ranks this season, the Buffalo Sabres' first-ever pick, Owen Power, didn't take too long to get going.
In his first NCAA game since returning from Buffalo, the giant defenseman had quite a night at the University of Michigan as he recorded four points, including a goal.
His team won 6-1 over the Lake Superior State Lakers in a one-sided game. It was the first win of the season for the Wolverines.
Other players to shine were Brendan Brisson, the Golden Knights' first overall pick in 2020, who had a goal and two assists. There was also forward Thomas Bordeleau with two points. The latter belongs to the San Jose Sharks.
The next game between Power and the Wolverines will be played tomorrow. The opponents will again be the Lakers.
