If we tell you that the Canadiens lost Gustav Lindstrom to the NHL waivers, we agree that it's not the worst news of the year.
However, it sounds different when we say that the Canadiens lost to the NHL waivers yesterday, one of their best goal scorers per game. Ouch.

The CH loses, via the departure of Gustav Lindstrom to Anaheim, its sixth best scorer in terms of average goals/game.
Wow...
We are not talking about this statistic to lament Lindstrom's departure or to say that Hughes made a mistake.
We simply talk about it to illustrate quite clearly the fact that it's sad to see that Lindstrom was sixth. (7th now)
This proves that the Habs really needs attack!

It's incredible to see that the Canadiens are still in the race for the NHL playoffs despite the fact that the team is among the three worst teams in the league for scoring goals.
This will be a file to address for Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton.
