The good news of the day for the Blue-White-Red: Cole Caufield is/was with his teammates this morning at practice. The Montreal Canadiens were back on the ice at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard, and the wide smile of the little number 22 was very present and sparkling.
So, after a minor upper body (shoulder) injury that kept him off the ice for about a week, Caufield is ready to resume his position as the first right wing of the lineup.
In the case of Joel Edmundson, Mike Hoffman and Carey Price, they were all conspicuous by their absence. It's funny, comical and disturbing, but there is a connection between these three players: each of these cases is nebulous...
More details to follow about the training...
Small signing with the Montreal Canadiens
Defenseman Arber Xhekaj has signed a three-year, two-way deal with the team. Xhekaj, who is a bit of a gamble like Joel Teasdale, signing an entry-level contract with the Habs, undrafted. In short, he will play his last year with the Kitchener Rangers after having surprised at the rookie camp.
