Cole Caufield will find himself on the first power play unit tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was moved to the same unit as Nick Suzuki and Mike Hoffman, specialists in these situations.
His scoring chances may double with these two individuals, but Caufield will also have to do his part.
Number 22 looks to be in great shape just hours before he faces Sidney Crosby and company.
He's been taking some really good one-timers on the left side in practice. Caufield seems to be getting more and more confident in this spot.
It's only a practice, certainly, there's no doubt he'll be looking to break through the wall that is Tristan Jarry these days.
The Pens' goalie has allowed only 10 goals in his last nine games. He is simply on fire. Caufield will be looking to solve the Jarry conundrum by any means necessary.
