Last night, the Montreal Canadiens announced the big return of Martin St-Louis, but there's more.

There's more in terms of stories to watch for tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche. See the official CH statement:

"Two notable returns in Denver!"

- Montreal Canadiens

Not only will Martin St-Louis be back:

"Martin St-Louis has rejoined the Canadiens in Denver, concluding the team's five-game road trip. Montreal has a meeting with the Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena, Tuesday night.

The Canadiens will thus be reunited with their leader, St-Louis, just in time for one of their biggest challenges of the season."

- Montreal Canadiens

But that's not all:

"Speaking of returns, Newhook will be on familiar ground, Tuesday, having been acquired from Colorado on June 27, 2023. The forward played three seasons with the Avs, notably winning the Stanley Cup in 2022. "I've had this date circled on my calendar since last summer," Newhook acknowledged."

Indeed, it will also be the grand return of Alex Newhook to Colorado, where he was drafted 16th overall in 2019 (first round) before being acquired by Kent Hughes last June.

He was traded for 1st and 2nd round picks in 2023, picks that became Mikhail Gulyayev and Ethan Gauthier.

And one could also talk about Jonathan Drouin, who is on fire and will face his former team tonight, at home.

In any case, there will be no shortage of stories to watch for tonight's game against the Avalanche.
