Chantal Machabée makes a big announcement and reacts to Martin St-Louis' return to the Canadiens
Just a few minutes after the announcement of Martin St-Louis's return, who went to see his son Mason, Chantal Machabée made a post.
She personally welcomed the return of her head coach!
Let's remember that earlier, Martin St-Louis shared what exactly happened to his son Mason for him to leave the team
It has been a tough week for the entire CH family, and obviously for the coach's family, but everything seems to finally be getting back to normal.
After all, that's what's really important.
Probably in collaboration with the excellent Chantal Machabée, Martin St-Louis published the following official statement earlier in the evening:
« Everyone within the Canadiens organization has been very supportive towards my wife, Heather, and me, as we focused entirely on our son Mason and his recovery following the injury he suffered playing hockey. As parents, nothing is more important to us than our three sons, Ryan, Lucas, and Mason. » - Martin St-Louis
And the organization added this.
« Mason St-Louis, aged 16, is the youngest of Martin and Heather's three sons. He was injured while playing a game for the U15 Mid-Fairfield (Connecticut). A week later, Mason suffered multiple complications related to his injury, necessitating his hospitalization. His condition has since stabilized, and he is now recuperating at the family home. » - Montreal Canadiens
It has been a significant communication challenge since last Saturday for Chantal and her team, but in the end, the outcome seems to be very positive.
We look forward to seeing Martin as soon as tomorrow and hope that the journalists' questions during his press conference will not be too personal and exaggerated.
Clearly, he wants to focus on hockey and the end of the season.
