In the last few minutes on TSN, insider Darren Dreger released a major piece of news.

As you know, the Columbus Blue Jackets fired their General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen today, big news.

And they are already looking for his replacement!

Jeff Gorton with the Blue Jackets?

See what Dreger just mentioned about this.

No, a reputable insider like him doesn't say this by chance. He's heard something.

Dreger on TSN: "I believe that Columbus will at least ask the Montreal Canadiens for permission to speak with their Executive Vice President Jeff Gorton... they love Gorton's experience and there's a clear history with Gorton and Davidson dating back to their time with the Rangers."

So, this will be a situation to follow and hopefully, it doesn't go any further. Gorton brings a lot to the Montreal Canadiens.
