Kent Hughes makes a decision on one of his goaltenders: one of them gets officially demoted
There has been another move among the goaltenders affiliated with the Montreal Canadiens organization, and it comes directly from Kent Hughes (under his hat as GM of the Laval Rocket).
With the emergence and official signing of goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo:
Strauss Mann is the one who suffers.
Hughes has indeed put an end to the trio of goaltenders with the Rocket.
Strauss Mann was the surplus goaltender in Laval, somewhat like Jake Allen in Montreal, so he has just been demoted.
After nearly three months of a trio of goaltenders in Laval, it's now a settled matter.
"Goaltender Strauss Mann has been reassigned to the Trois-Rivières Lions."
- Laval Rocket
He will be able to see more action in the ECHL, and he will continue to develop as the 6th goaltender of the Montreal Canadiens.
Details to follow.
