Head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, was holding a live press conference from the Bell Centre in the past few minutes.

He obviously talked about his lineup for tonight's game and the great opportunity given to Owen Beck to be paired with Patrik Laine and Alex Newhook on the second line.

He also discussed Jayden Struble's more uncertain role over the past few weeks, his expectations for the end of the 2024-2025 NHL season, and several other topics. However, it was a small gesture he made at the beginning of the press conference that caught everyone's attention (for all the right reasons).

Martin St-Louis interrupts Martin McGuire to acknowledge the top QMJHL prospects for the upcoming draft, who were present in the room

A very classy gesture from the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens.

It's rare to see something like this, and it's very unusual, but it speaks volumes about the respect and consideration Martin St-Louis has for young players.

Hats off!

He even took the time to speak with them in more depth after the press conference, meet them, and take a photo with them! On a game day, no less!

These young players will likely remember this moment for a long time. Hats off to the Montreal Canadiens organization, and hats off to Martin St-Louis for this.

Who knows? There might be a future Montreal Canadiens or Laval Rocket player among the faces who posed alongside MSL this morning.
