"I honestly have no idea. I don't really think there is anything new to say, but I'm not in the loop with any plans for any type of announcement."

In short, the situation has not changed for Carey.
So, we should not expect the organization to make an official announcement soon about his retirement or his more general future with the Montreal Canadiens.
Even as another season ends, we should not expect to have official news from Carey Price, and nothing is planned at the moment.
Some might have hoped to see him work with the team, as an advisor or otherwise, but that too does not seem to be in the plans.
