Adam Fantilli traded to the Montreal Canadiens: a trade proposal has just surfaced
While waiting for the NHL Draft, it's always interesting to chat and discuss possible transactions to consider for Kent Hughes.
Knowing that the Anaheim Ducks love Matvei Michkov and are not afraid of his situation, would they be interested in moving back slightly?
That's what an observer has proposed.

To the Canadiens:
- 2nd overall pick (Adam Fantilli)
To the Ducks:
- 5th overall pick, Logan Mailloux, and Joshua Roy
This comes from Hockey Night in Montreal and here are the fans' responses so far:
- 24% believe the Canadiens would refuse
-58% believe the Ducks would refuse
-18% believe it would be a fair trade.
Personally, we like the idea of moving forward and capitalizing on the Ducks' interest in Michkov, but we wouldn't give up Joshua Roy and Logan Mailloux. They are too valuable and promising.
Perhaps Riley Kidney and the Florida Panthers' 2023 first round pick?
That could be interesting to explore.
At the same time, we still believe that the best solution might simply be to stay at the 5th position and draft Michkov.
