As former Montreal Canadiens employee Marc Dumont noted, the official Canadiens website has caused a lot of confusion among fans.
Sometimes, by closely monitoring the website, we get to learn exclusive news and "scoops", like the hiring of Teddy Purcell by the Montreal Canadiens, for instance.
Purcell was listed among the Habs' staff members even before an announcement was made. Then there's Gustav Lindstrom, who was quickly added to the Canadiens' lineup on the official site.
A Bug Causing a Buzz
However, this morning, seeing names like Carter Hart and Nicolas Deslauriers inserted into the CH's official lineup, we realize it's not a major transaction that we missed, but simply a technical glitch.

We've received several comments on this in the last few minutes, but no, the Canadiens did not acquire these six players from the Flyers.
It's a simple mistake by those managing the site.
The issue should be corrected shortly.
Speaking of bugs, there's another significant one regarding the schedule:
No, the Canadiens will not play an absolutely grueling series of five games in five nights. That would be utterly ridiculous.
