For the past few weeks, increasingly serious rumors have been linking forward Alex Killorn to the Montreal Canadiens," TVA Sports reported. Killorn, 33, will become a free agent this summer and could sign with agent Kent Hughes. He had an impressive 64 points, including 27 goals, in 82 games this season.
Adding fuel to the fire, TVA Sports has just reported some interesting news. Killorn has recently purchased not one, not two, not three, but four condominium units on Saint-Jacques Street, between downtown and Old Montreal. Well, well!
It's worth noting that Killorn grew up in Beaconsfield, a suburb on the west side of the island of Montreal.
Will he join the Canadiens as a free agent in the coming weeks? It would be a significant acquisition if confirmed.
One thing is for sure, he will have a substantial presence in Montreal.
