There's a lot of talk, just a few days before the NHL trade deadline, and the renowned David Pagnotta has just provided information regarding the Montreal Canadiens.

Kent Hughes is in demand!

See what TFP reports:

«The Montreal Canadiens are ready to make several trades before the Friday deadline at 3 PM ET, and General Manager Kent Hughes has responded to calls from other GMs regarding some of his players.

Canadiens goaltender Jake Allen and defenseman David Savard have been the most talked about, while forward Tanner Pearson, whose contract is expiring, is also a candidate for a move this week.

Even though veteran forward Joel Armia is also available, another forward is back in play in Montreal.»

And that's where the name Josh Anderson surprisingly resurfaces:

«Josh Anderson's name has come up in trade discussions over the past 18 months and he seems to be available again five days before the deadline, as noted by David Pagnotta of TFP.»

Josh Anderson is thus back in the discussion for a trade, according to David Pagnotta, and it will be an interesting file to watch by Friday, even if it's hard to believe.

Among other names mentioned by the insider are those of Jake Allen, David Savard, Tanner Pearson, and Joel Armia.

Will other teams pay the price set by Kent Hughes? That is the big question, especially since the Canadiens have absolutely no urgency to move.

One thing is certain, there's a lot of chatter from Kent Hughes' side, and he has spent a lot of time on the phone since last Friday, according to Pagnotta.

To be continued!
