The Calgary Flames have just traded defenseman Chris Tanev to the Dallas Stars, in return for a 2nd round pick, a prospect, and another conditional pick.
When Elias Lindholm was traded, Sean Monahan was immediately traded afterward.
Now that Chris Tanev has been traded, will David Savard be immediately traded next, so in the coming hours?
To be continued, but many observers believe he has unfortunately played his last game in Montreal.
In any case, this Tanev trade gives an EXCELLENT idea of the current market. These are two very similar defenders, although Savard should have a bit more value.
