Jim Montgomery's Replacement Behind the Bruins' Bench Makes a First Controversial Decision
As you know, earlier this week, the Boston Bruins fired their head coach Jim Montgomery.
It's Joe Sacco, who notably worked with the Colorado Avalanche before the arrival of a certain Patrick Roy, who has been named interim coach.
Let's just say he didn't waste much time sending a clear message.

The Bruins' new head coach has officially announced that it won't be Swayman in net for tonight's game, but rather Joonas Korpisalo.
This is a big story in Boston and has sparked significant reactions today.
My first instinct was to think this must be a logical decision based on the schedule, but no.
The Bruins haven't played since Monday, and they have two days off after this, so Sacco could easily have (and probably should have) sent his star goaltender into the fray.
Clearly, he's sending a message to Swayman here, who, let's not forget, skipped his team's training camp due to a contract dispute. (before signing an $8.25 million-per-year deal valid through 2032)
This season, Swayman hasn't been himself, posting a goals-against average of 3.47 and a save percentage of 0.884.
