A Mysterious Goalie Made an Appearance Live From Canadiens Practice This Morning
Just over 48 hours before the team's next game, the Montreal Canadiens players are currently on the ice live from Brossard.
There are a few interesting things to note, including the return of Patrik Laine for a full practice this time.
Clearly, he's making progress!
Additionally, please note that before the "official" morning practice at 10:30 a.m., the centers had a session with Marc Bureau.
Interestingly, Juraj Slafkovsky did practice with the centers, which gives us a hint of a possible change coming from head coach Martin St-Louis.
A mysterious goaltender hit the ice with the Canadiens
Among the other interesting highlights, there's this.
It seems like a young goaltender was invited by the organization to participate in today's sessions, and we love to see it.
Kudos to the team for this initiative.
It gives him a truly special day to train with the best in the world, and it also slightly lightens the workload for Samuel Montembeault and Cayden Primeau.
Not to mention, with practices split between two rinks, more goalies are needed.
It's much more enjoyable for the players to shoot on a goaltender than on a piece of plywood.
Kudos to Marc-Olivier Cook from DansLesCoulisses for his fantastic coverage of the Canadiens' practice session in Brossard.
Details to follow.
