As you know, the story and false rumors involving Corey Perry have completely degenerated on the web, and unfortunately, this has real impacts on the lives of certain families.
Families who absolutely did not ask for any of this, including the Bedard family.
We talk about it to denounce this story and to raise awareness of the horrible impacts it can have.
After probably being senselessly harassed, Connor Bedard's mother was literally forced to delete all her pages on social media.
Can you imagine what she's going through right now?
Even though the Blackhawks, even a journalist from Chicago and Frank Seravalli (to name just a few) have all unanimously assured that this story involving Melanie Bedard is completely false and disgusting, it continued.
It now seems that Mrs. Bedard has tried to distance herself from all this noise and chaos that the rumors have created for her and her family.
We can so understand her.
If you search for her Instagram account, it's no longer active.
It's really sad and shows how much it's gone too far.
We can't even imagine the horror and the amount of messages she must have been receiving.

We should talk about Connor Bedard for his immense talent and for the unique athlete that he is, nothing else.
And we should talk about his mother as being an extraordinary, devoted, and involved mother for her children, nothing else.
