Major announcement: the worst is confirmed for Jonathan Drouin and it's officially over for him as a regular in the lineup
We had a serious hint that it was coming earlier today, but it has just been confirmed.
Former forward of the Montreal Canadiens, Jonathan Drouin has been removed from the lineup of the Colorado Avalanche, not even 10 games into the season.
Indeed, it is noted that Tomas Tatar suffered the same fate.
After moving from the 1st to the 2nd line, after being tried on the 3rd line, now Drouin is dropping even lower in the team's hierarchy.
He will be left aside and sent to the stands tonight. Ouch.
We are far from the 70 points that some predicted for him.
Note also that Drouin has not scored a point since the first period of the first game of the season (he has one point in 8 games) and he is still in search of his very first goal with his new team.
See the new lines of the Avalanche.
