A new surprise contract for Jonathan Drouin and the Canadiens? An amount has just been announced
Jonathan Drouin has been playing excellent hockey for several games, with 12 points in his last 12 games.
Many experts believe that his value is becoming more and more interesting, not only for the trade deadline but also for the opening of free agency this summer.
Earlier today, on BPM Sports, Gilbert Delorme made a surprising suggestion:
"If I were the CH, I would make an effort to go after Drouin for $1.5 million a year. (a new contract)"

"On a third trio, Jonathan Drouin at 1.5 million per year, me it does not bother me at all. I don't know about you, but me honestly if I'm the Habs, I'll make him an offer.
