At the most recent NHL draft, the Montreal Canadiens selected three goaltenders, including of course Jacob Fowler and Quentin Miller, but the third is becoming increasingly interesting as well.

Yevgeni Volokhin, who played in the MHL last season and was relatively unknown, is truly starting to make waves.

We're talking about a goalie who is only 18 years old and stands at 6 feet 3 inches.

The Canadiens' goaltender prospect is dominating the pre-season schedule in his league right now. After finishing last season with an average of 2.12 and a save percentage of 0.927 (in the MHL), he is even stronger this season.

He won all six of his games, three of them being shutouts, which is obviously very impressive.

Volokhin is definitely a name to watch, and he joins the potential candidates to eventually become the Montreal Canadiens' goaltender of the future.
