Earlier today, the Montreal Canadiens announced that Logan Mailloux's 2023 training camp is over.

He is heading to the Laval Rocket camp; he has been cut.

However, we had a nice proof that the fans are very vigilant here.

Many of you have asked us if Mailloux will be back soon, and if his sending to Laval was not rather a simple administrative move.

Why? Because of the way the Canadiens formulated the announcement.

The Canadiens have 'loaned' defenseman Logan Mailloux to the Laval Rocket.

Whereas normally, they use the term 'assigned' or 'cut'.

Indeed, many of you noticed this nuance and spoke to us about it.

However, the Canadiens have just made a clarification, and it confirms what we thought.

"The Canadiens assert that the term "loaned" used in the announcement concerning Logan Mailloux has no link with any duration of stay in Laval.
