Earlier this week, the Ottawa Senators caused a surprise by placing a defenseman they recently drafted in the 1st round on the NHL waivers.

Lassi Thomson was eventually directly claimed by the Anaheim Ducks, but many rumors suggested that the Montreal Canadiens would have claimed him if he had fallen to their spot.

Today, Kent Hughes has a very interesting new opportunity!

The rumor has been circulating a lot in the last few hours, but it is now confirmed.

The Ottawa Senators are about to place two very promising names on the NHL waivers. Again!

Sokolov will most likely be claimed!

Even Bernard-Docker.

Egor Sokolov, 23 years old, is a big winger standing 6 feet 3 inches who has collected 109 points in 134 games over the last two seasons in the AHL, and two points in five NHL games last year. He was a 61st overall pick.

Jacob Bernard-Docker, 23 years old, was a 26th overall pick.

Which one do you think will be claimed? Which one would interest you in Montreal?
