Big surprise on the CH first line and unexpected change concerning Jonathan Drouin
As the Montreal Canadiens resumed practice this morning, live from the Bell Centre, Martin St-Louis completely changed his lineup.
One of them is Alex Belzile, who got the chance of a lifetime.
He was already very happy just to play in the National Hockey League on the fourth line, but now he's getting a great promotion!
Belzile will now play on the right wing of Nick Suzuki and Rafael Harvey-Pinard.
Jonathan Drouin is also back on the second line, along with Denis Gurianov and Josh Anderson.
Check out the lineup at this morning's practice:
HP-Suzuki-Belzile
Gurianov-Drouin-Anderson
Hoffman-Tierney-Ylonen
Pezzetta-Pitlick-Richard
And the official press release of the CH (with details):
An unrestricted free agent this summer, 31-year-old Alex Belzile has 12 points in 24 games this season with the Habs. It looks like he will be getting a new contract with the CH this summer.
