Brendan Gallagher made a significant gesture yesterday that has caused quite a buzz
Is Brendan Gallagher still the player he was five years ago? No.
Is Brendan Gallagher worth more than 6 million dollars a year? Probably not.
However, one can never fault him for not positively contributing to the team's culture, and one can never blame him for not giving it his all on the ice.
A video captured yesterday proves it and speaks volumes about him.
Imagine a young player like Cole Caufield, or even a youngster like Joshua Roy seeing that! It's a great lesson and quite the example to set.
Even though the game was for all intents and purposes already lost, Gallagher still gave it his all on his defensive retreat to try to prevent a goal.
He's actually the only CH player who didn't give up on that play. Look at his teammates!
