There are less than 10 days left before the Montreal Canadiens' season gets underway. There are only a few cuts left to make, so the picture of the lines is becoming clearer. We can understand many things at the dawn of the next cuts by analyzing the units concocted this morning.

By the way, here are the famous lines of the Canadiens offense:

If we read it correctly, Rafael Harvey-Pinard, Ryan Poehling, Jesse Ylonen and Michael Pezzeta will not be wearing the Montreal Canadiens jersey on October 13th? Note that Mike Hoffman is still on the injured list, as is Cedric Paquette, so the trios are likely to change when they return.

So. Caufield on the first unit and Gallagher on the third, which is pretty much the result of predictions in that regard. Joel Armia finds himself on the left side on the 3rd for now, taking the predicted spot of Mike Hoffman. In Drouin's case, he still finds himself with his comrades Christian Dvorak and Josh Anderson.

Defensively, can we understand that Kaiden Guhle could start the season in Montreal?

Don't forget that Alexander Romanov is with Jeff Petry during Joel Edmundon's absence, which puts Guhle in Romanov's usual seat. Although...

Oh yeah, just like that, Samuel Montembeault is already wearing a Red, White, and Blue outfit.

He is lined up to start his season with the Montreal Canadiens... unless Cayden Primeau turns the tables!
