Last-minute signing alert within the Montreal Canadiens organization as two new players arrive with the Lions
Two new players have been added to the roster of the Montreal Canadiens in the last few minutes, specifically to the Trois-Rivières affiliate.
The Lions have indeed just announced two new signings.
"The Trois-Rivières Lions have announced the signing of forwards Jared Power and Charles-Antoine Paiement." - Lions de Trois-Rivières
Power, 26, is a forward from Calgary who spent the last two seasons with the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL, scoring two goals and five assists (seven points) in 25 games.
As for Paiement, he is a 5-foot-8 Quebec native who has played the last three seasons in Canadian university ranks, representing Concordia University. Notably, he scored 10 goals and 8 assists (18 points) in just 17 games this season.
Also, the Lions are currently in 3rd place in the North Division of their league, just one point behind the Newfoundland Growlers who are at the top of the standings.
We wish the best of luck to Power and Paiement, who we might see at the 2024 Montreal Canadiens training camp.
Welcome to the organization!
More details to follow.
