As reported by my colleague David St-Jean, we had a major statement this morning on the airwaves of BPM Sports.

It concerns the famous case of the return of the Quebec Nordiques.

While the case seems to be very neutral, Renaud Lavoie brought up this story today, and the discussion took a very interesting turn.

"The former Sens owner's plan was clear: Bring games to Quebec City, first 5 and then maybe 10 if all goes well and, if the experience is conclusive, transfer the team to the capital of La Belle Province by adding local investors." - Via DansLesCoulisses

A statement heard this morning on the airwaves of BPM Sports on the show hosted by Jean-Charles Lajoie.

Renaud Lavoie then revealed that, according to his sources, other NHL teams would have had a similar project. Excuse me?

"I know it has also been talked about with other teams over the years to play games there. (in Quebec City)" - Renaud Lavoie

However, he did not name any team.

It's a major statement, but let's wait and see.

Could the Arizona Coyotes play a few regular-season games in Quebec City next season? We're asking the question. Remember, this comes from two influential employees of a certain network called Quebecor.
