Major Announcement from the Canadiens Concerning Rafaël Harvey-Pinard: He Just Signed
In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens organization has announced this:
"The Canadiens agree on the terms of a two-season contract extension (2023-2024 to 2024-2025) with forward Rafaël Harvey-Pinard."
- Montreal Canadiens
This is a contract for 2 seasons with a total value of $2.2 million ($1.1 million per season).
Wow! That's not much paid for such a solid player like him. Hats off to RHP for betting on himself and leaving money on the table, to give himself time to prove to everyone that he deserves a big contract.
Solid work by Kent Hughes as well.
Harvey-Pinard, 24, has racked up 31 points in 39 games this season with the Laval Rocket, and 20 points (14 goals) in just 34 games with the Montreal Canadiens.
He seems to have a bright future.
Details to follow.
