Major announcement from the Canadiens concerning David Reinbacher in the middle of August
In recent hours, as announced by Cap Friendly, the Montreal Canadiens have officially recalled young defenseman David Reinbacher.
The Canadiens have recalled 2023 1st RD pick (5th overall) David Reinbacher back to Montreal from EHC Kloten in Switzerland.
Why a recall?
Because Reinbacher had officially been loaned to his Swiss team, Kloten, for the preseason games. So, he has already played matches!
Reinbacher, the 5th overall pick in the last draft, is now officially on his way to Montreal and will be at camp shortly.
With the rookie tournament and training camp imminent, this decision was expected. We are really looking forward to seeing this!
Let's remember that, by all accounts and unless he pulls off a big surprise at the CH camp, Reinbacher is expected to play the next season in Switzerland.
