Marty got fed up of discussing the Drouin situation and sends a clear message during press conference
As we mentioned earlier, we learned that Jonathan Drouin was absent from today's Montreal Canadiens practice because he missed a team meeting.
As a punishment, Drouin was suspended by the team and was not allowed to participate in today's practice. He may even miss his team's next game.
See below how Martin St-Louis reported this to the media during his press conference today.
We love it. He was very transparent, but when journalists pushed too much on the issue, he made it clear that it was enough.
He set boundaries, and that's just perfect.
"I have non-negotiables, Jo missed a meeting, there are consequences." - Martin St-Louis
And five or six questions later, he had enough (rightfully so):
"Listen, the question has been answered, it's over. Move on."
