The former NHL player, who has now become a hockey analyst, openly criticized Martin St-Louis' decision on 98.5 FM. The latter really doesn't understand the head coach's plan with young defenseman Jordan Harris.

Since the team is rebuilding, Max does not understand why he is so often in the stands.

In his opinion, Arber Xhekaj, Kaiden Guhle and Harris should always be starters, since they are the future of the franchise.

Clearly, the surplus of defensemen, especially left-handed ones, complicates St. Louis' management. Right now, there is no way the coach can remove one of the three veterans from the lineup between Michael Matheson, David Savard or Joel Edmundson.

What it comes down to is that leaving out Johnathan Kovacevic would possibly be the answer, but the fact that there is a lack of a natural right-handed defenseman causes a problem. Without Kovacevic in the lineup, the CH would be left with five left-handed defensemen and one right-handed defenseman.

Let's just say that's far from ideal.
