After the disturbing scene involving young Cole Caufield, who was hit hard in the final minutes, Montreal Canadiens fans were holding their breath.
We finally got some news, and it's really not good.
Cole Caufield will not return to the game. Upper body injury. Hit hard on the head." - Renaud Lavoie
The worst case scenario is confirmed.
"Forward Cole Caufield will not return to action tonight (upper body)." - Montreal Canadiens
Let's really hope this isn't too serious, but it didn't look good. In the list of worst things that could happen to the Habs, what just happened with Caufield was at the top of the list.
