NHL Trade Alert: Red Wings Complete Deal with Kings

On this Sunday afternoon, with less than 24 hours to go before the NHL trade deadline, another defenseman is changing addresses.
The Los Angeles Kings acquired defenseman Troy Stecher from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for a seventh round pick in 2022.
Stecher, 27, is a 5-foot-10, 184-pound mobile defenseman. He has two points in 16 games this season with the Wings (-6 rating), and 11 points in 44 games last season.
He earns 1.7 million per year and will be a free agent this summer. No salary is retained in the exchange.
