After the major acquisition of forward Brandon Hagel, we thought (at least if we were to believe what their GM said) that the Tampa Bay Lightning were done shopping.
Finally, Julien BriseBois just moved again.
He agreed with the Ottawa Sens to acquire forward Nick Paul in exchange for Mathieu Joseph and a fourth round pick in 2024.
Please note that Ottawa will retain 44.5% of Paul's salary in the exchange.
Nick Paul, 27, has 18 points in 59 games this season (11 goals and -18 rating).
Mathieu Joseph, 25, has 18 points in 58 games this season (8 goals and +4 rating).
More details to come!
