RUMOR: the Montreal Canadiens are about to proceed with a highly anticipated announcement involving the young goaltender Cayden Primeau
Interesting.
See what the former Montreal Canadiens' goaltending coach Stéphane Waite just mentioned about the goalie who might be thrown into the fray tonight.
«Detroit would be good [] The last time Éric Raymond spent 40 minutes with (Primeau) on the ice, I was there in Brossard and then it's Primeau who was playing the next day.»
We therefore have solid reasons to believe that the CH is about to announce that Cayden Primeau will be in net tonight in Detroit.
A highly anticipated announcement for him.
So, it would be the youngster who would have the task of allowing the Habs to find their way back to victory.
It's still in the realm of rumor, but with Jake Allen AND Samuel Montembeault having played Tuesday night, it would indeed be logical to give Primeau a start. (who is really overdue to play by the way)
More details will follow.
Credits.
