It's a change from last season, and we love it.
Unanimously recognized as an exemplary teammate, Allen has just made a very clear request to his bosses.
He wants to play more games than last season!
Allen, 33 years old, played 42 games last season for the Habs. (Record of 15-24-3, average of 3.55, and save percentage of 0.891)
While many already consider Samuel Montembeault as the Habs' number one goaltender, veteran Allen has not had his final say.
It's absolutely a good thing to see him 'challenge' Montembeault and not simply accept his role as number two.
It's also good for Samuel, who will have to excel.
