In the last few minutes and in anticipation of the game in Las Vegas, the Montreal Canadiens made two announcements, including one confirmed change.
Here they are.
"A decision will be made in the pre-game regarding Mike Matheson's presence against Vegas." - CH
"Martin St-Louis confirms that Samuel Montembeault will get the start on Monday against the Golden Knights." - CH
So, there will be a change to note in net, and regarding Matheson, we have our answer. He is officially a game time decision, which is good news under the circumstances.
Those are the only points to note today.
This means that Joel Armia will be back in the Habs lineup, and Jesse Ylonen will be left out again.
